Lost River Crossing in Baker, West Virginia, is about 120 miles (2 ½ hours) from Washington.

Take I-66 West to I-81 South (towards Roanoke).

Continue on I-81 south for about 2 miles.

Take exit 296. (Note: If you want to stop in Strasburg to eat or visit antique shops, take exit 298.Turn left on Route 11 and follow signs into town.)

Take Route 55 West about 20 miles to Wardensville, WV.

Turn left on Route 259 South. (Drive slowly, Wardensville is a speed trap!)

Follow Route 259 South about 10 miles to Baker.

Turn left on Route 259 South and go 1 mile until you see the Lost River Crossing sign on your right.
From Harrisonburg, Virginia
Baker, West Virginia is about 1 hour from Harrisonburg.

From I-81 North, take exit 257 (Timberville, Broadway).

Take Route 259 West to Timberville.

At the traffic light across from Broadway Motors, turn left to continue on 259 West.

Follow Route 259 to West Virginia.

Pass through Mathias, Lost City, and Lost River.

Stay on Route 259 until you see the Lost River Crossing sign on the left.
